The Lewisburg Arts Council invites the public to join in celebrating its tenth annual Members’ Show at the Public Library for Union County, 255 Reitz Blvd., Lewisburg,
The show opens Friday, February 2, and closes Wednesday, February 28. Artwork will be displayed in the library’s “Gallery 255” and can be viewed during regular hours: M, T, Th 9:30 am to 8:30 pm and W, F, Sat 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The show’s Opening Reception will be held Thursday, February 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served in the library’s Community Room.
During the reception, meet other area creatives who share your interests, hear news about the Arts Council’s exciting plans for the coming year, and learn how you can get involved in bringing the arts to our community.
At 6:00 pm, Arts Council President Della Hutchison will have a very special announcement about the Featured Artist for our upcoming annual Lewisburg Festival Arts.
Come celebrate the many artists and volunteers who have contributed to the show and helped it grow over the past ten years.
And, on Tuesdays in February, stop by the library’s lobby between 11 am and 1 pm, when representatives will be available to engage with visitors and answer questions about the artwork, the Lewisburg Arts Council, the Photography Club, and the Artists’ Guild.
