Members of the Lewisburg Photography Club will lead a series of one-hour Nature Photo Hikes on the Dale’s Ridge Trail, where spring wildflowers – including Spring Beauties, Virginia Bluebells, and Dutchman’s Breeches – will be in full bloom.
Starting at 6 AM, hikes are scheduled to start at the top of each hour throughout the morning. Two afternoon hikes are scheduled, one at 1 and the last at 6 PM. Each hike is limited to 6 participants. All hikes begin at the parking lot near Strawbridge Road where the Dale’s Ridge Trail starts. Participants must be older than 11 and bring their own camera – a smartphone is fine. There will be many opportunities to take nature photos along the trail. The trail might be muddy so we recommend wearing hiking boots.
Join us on one or several hikes doing two of our favorite things– walking in nature and capturing its magic in photographs.
Registered participants will be invited to submit their work to the Art Show held at the Public Library for Union County in June.
