Come walk for a good cause while supporting the March of Dimes and the fight for the health of local moms and babies. Geisinger will host the March for Babies event scheduled for 1 p.m., June 25 at Montour Preserve, 700 Preserve Road, Danville.
The event will include a superhero sprint for children, a photo booth, Mamacita’s food truck, face painting, games and more.
Funds Raised through March for Babies events help families such as the Crocetto family. The family spent 115 days in the Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit when their twin daughters, Nova and Nadia, were born prematurely. Today the twins at energetic and thriving.
March of Dimes plays critical roles in raising awareness and funds to help prevent preterm birth, birth defects and deaths.
Register or donate today by visiting www.marchforbabies.org/event/susquehanna and join the celebration on June 25. Registration opens at noon with the event kicking off at 1 p.m. Pets are not permitted at the event.
