Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation is looking for a News Director to lead a newsroom that supplies content for 5 radio stations, and their websites, including the award-winning Newsradio 1070 WKOK.
As our News director, you’ll help create the vision of how we’ll operate the newsroom, and then carry it out. Your oversight will include all the resources you have at your disposal including facilities, equipment, and the full & part time personnel. You’ll be part of the news team, so you’ll be expected to write, edit, report and anchor news as well.
This person will be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency in using digital platforms to deliver a news product on-air, online, via text & email alerts, and through various social media channels. Experience in shooting and editing video or on-camera work is a huge plus.
