Boy Scout Troop 333 will be having a Chicken BBQ on Island Boulevard, Sunbury, from 11:00 a.m. till sold out. Pick-up is drive-thru service. Cost is $12 for platter which includes 1/2 chicken, baked potato, our famous baked beans, and dessert. $10 for just 1/2 chicken. Proceeds benefit the activities and program of the Troop.
On Sunday, May 5th, 2024, the Mount Carmel Lions Club will once again hold their All Take Out Spaghetti and Meatballs Dinner, with salad and dessert at the Atlas Legion from 11:30 AM until 2:00 PM. $10.00 per ticket. Tickets are available from any Lions member or at the door. The Lions Club will supply the containers. Please do not bring your own. Please help the Lions continue their many community projects by supporting this critical fundraiser!

The Buffalo Valley Singers present their Pops Concerts, Saturday, May 18th at 7:30 pm and Sunday, May 19th at 3:00 pm. Concerts are performed at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Rd, Lewisburg. Tickets may be purchased from members prior to the concert dates and will also be sold at the door. The Buffalo Valley Singers have been performing for over 50 years. The 70 member choir ranges in age from fifteen years to folks in their eighties. A community minded group, BVS fosters area youth in their music endeavors, inviting them to participate vocally or instrumentally.
